AMERICAN WOODWORKER SHOPBOT SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void where prohibited.
American Woodworker & ShopBot Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on January 15, 2012 and ends at midnight on July 31, 2012. Limit one entry per email address. By entering, participants warrant and represent that they agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the final decision of the Sponsor. Employees of American Woodworker, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
On or about August 15, 2012, the winning essay will be selected as the contest winner of:
One (1) Grand Prize: One year's use of the ShopBot Desktop. Total ARV of all prizes: $6985.
The winners will be notified by email or phone. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If American Woodworker cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
American Woodworker reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Sweepstakes entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sweepstakes commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes. Entrants further grant to American Woodworker the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Sweepstakes.
As permitted by law and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, each entrant agrees that the Sponsor may share his/her entry information (including name, address, email address, etc.) with Sponsor’s promotional partners and other parties and grant Sponsor, its promotional partners and other third parties with whom Sponsor chooses to share your information, permission to contact you about upcoming promotions, special offers or for other reasons via electronic and ordinary mail. If you would prefer not to hear from us or prefer us not to share information about you, please remember to check the opt out box when entering the Sweepstakes or opt out in accordance with Sponsor’s on-line privacy policy, available for viewing at americanwoodworker.com.
The Sweepstakes and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, Inc., and/or American Woodworker. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
UPICKEM and American Woodworker are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This Sweepstakes is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that an Entrant is using the Sweepstakes for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities. American Woodworker reserves the right to change the rules at any time. This Sweepstakes is officially sponsored by AW Media, LLC.
