Celebrate 45 Years of Quilting

Join in commemorating Quilters Newsletter’s 45^th anniversary by entering the Celebrate 45 Years of Quilting Quilt Challenge. The rules are simple: Make a quilt that measures 45” x 45” when finished, send us a photo and include an artist’s statement that explains how the quilt celebrates 45 years of quilting.

Entries will be accepted starting at midnight January 7, 2014, and must be received by 5:00 PM Mountain Standard Time on June 30, 2014.

Your quilt can be traditional, modern, contemporary, an art quilt ... any style, or maybe it incorporates more than one style. Perhaps it features blocks previously published in Quilters Newsletter. Maybe it has original block designs. It might be hand quilted; it might be machine quilted. It might be made with fabrics reflective of the 1970s or fabrics with more current appeal. The main point is: Celebrate 45 Years of Quilting!

The Grand Prize winner will receive a Bernina 750 QE and a fabulous quilter’s prize package. Four additional winners will receive the quilter’s prize package.
