Quilters Quilt the Blues 2016 Quilt Challenge
 

Presented by McCall’s QuiltingQuiltmakerFons & Porter's Love of QuiltingQuilting Arts, and Modern Patchwork magazines.

Demonstrate your creativity by designing an original quilt using fabulous pre-selected fabrics, then enter your quilt for a chance to win fantastic prizes! The winning quilt and finalist quilts will be exhibited at Original Sewing & Quilt Expos in 2017.

 

The rules are simple: Make a quilt using your original design that measures 56”-60” x 68”-72” when finished, using the Quilters Quilt the Blues Challenge Fabric Bundle available only from QuiltAndSewShop.com (image above is a representation of the fabrics in the bundle and not necessarily the actual prints). You must provide proof of purchase from QuiltAndSewShop.com. You may also add up to three other fabrics of your choice.

 

Enter online (QuiltAndSewShop.com/QuiltTheBlues) or by mail (Quilters Quilt the Blues 2016 Quilt Challenge, 741 Corporate Circle, Suite E, Golden, CO 80401) or by email to QuiltersNewsletterMagazine@gmail.com. Entry deadline is December 1, 2016.

 

You must include the following with your entry:

·         Photo of FINISHED quilt

·         Quilt name

·         Quilt's finished dimensions (in inches)

·         Artist’s statement describing quilt

·         Receipt showing proof of purchase of the Quilters Quilt the Blues Quilt Challenge Fabric Bundle from QuiltAndSewShop.com

·         Your name, address, phone number, and email address (if you have one)

 

If your quilt is chosen as a finalist quilt in the Quilters Quilt the Blues 2016 Quilt Challenge, it must have a hanging sleeve and quilt label which specifies the maker's name and the quilt's title in order to qualify for the prizes or be featured at Original Sewing & Quilt Expo Events in 2017.
